All Kermi shower enclosures are developed and produced at the Plattling site in Lower Bavaria - genuine quality “Made in Germany”. We also focus on reliability after the purchase: we guarantee that all spare parts will be available for 20 years after a model has been discontinued - a clear sign of our quality philosophy.

Kermi shower enclosures are characterized by exceptional durability and have been thoroughly tested according to EN 14428 (CE) and PPP 53005 (TÜV/GS), which among other things includes safety-in-use with regards to stability, splash water protection, and being easy-clean.

Splash water protection
Water-repellent effect due to innovative sealing strips
All Kermi shower enclosures meet the requirements of splash water protection testing in accordance with DIN EN 14428:
- The higher the barrier (floor profile), the less splash water escapes into the room
- Special horizontal sealing strip with water-repellent effect (included in the scope of delivery) ensures satisfactory splash water protection, even for off-floor shower enclosures without a floor sill
Stability
through highest quality materials and meticulous processing
All Kermi shower enclosures have an extremely stable construction:
- withstands everyday use with ease
- Stability tested using a pendulum impact test
- Usage of strong, single-panel safety glass according to EN 12150-1 only (depending on product range and model in the thicknesses 3 to 10 mm)
- Tempered glass exhibits significantly higher impct and shock resistance than untreated glass
